What it keeps apart is everything after: the SHROUD does not sit in your wallet, the address spends on its own ETH without touching your wallet again, and your other stealth addresses stay unlinked to it and to each other.

A stealth buy pays the pool's 1% hook fee on the whole ETH you spend, the gas ETH included, and the pool's 1% LP fee on what it swaps.
