Two percents, stated.
Every swap of the pool pays the hook's 1% of its ether side, and the pool's 1% LP fee. Both go to the owner. Sending SHROUD, by stealthSend or by a signed move, pays no fee at all: only gas.
The hook's 1%
Booked to the owner on every swap, both directions, all four shapes, and paid out by payOwner, which anyone may call and which only pays the owner.

On exact-output swaps the 1% is taken of the smaller side, so it comes to 1/101, 0.990%, of the gross ether that moves. A stealth buy's ETH for gas is inside the ETH you name, so it pays the 1% too. Under 100 wei the fee rounds to 0.
The pool's 1% LP fee
The pool's only liquidity is one Uniswap v4 position NFT, minted to the owner at the launch with all the SHROUD and no ETH. It earns the pool's 1% LP fee on every swap: ETH on buys, SHROUD on sells. The owner keeps that NFT and can withdraw the liquidity at any time. Read the risks.
Tips
A signed move names a tip in SHROUD, and a signed sale a tip in ETH out of the sale. The signer chooses it; it goes to whoever submits. Shroud takes nothing from tips.

Measured on a mainnet fork by sim_shroud5564.js on 2026-10-12. The first swap of a block can cost more (cold storage).
This site asks for a 0.05 gwei priority fee on every transaction. MetaMask adds about 2 gwei by default: in the fee, choose Advanced and set the priority fee to 0.05 gwei.
