Paste their meta-address, or an address or ENS name that registered one. This page works out a stealth address only they can find, and you pay it. Nobody watching can tell who it belongs to.

Before you pay

  • The stealth address is shown above before you sign. It is new for this payment only.
  • Your own wallet is public as the sender: anyone can see that you paid some stealth address, and how much. Only the recipient can see it was them.
  • The announcement goes to the standard ERC-5564 Announcer, where any EIP-5564 wallet can find it, Shroud's inbox included.
  • The ETH sent along lets them spend without first funding the address from their own wallet, which would link the two.
  • A buy for them pays the pool's 1% hook fee on the ETH you spend, the ETH for their gas included.
